House of Silex began where two different worlds met.
 

Killian came to the table through wine through the regions, producers, stories, traditions and details that can turn a bottle into an expression of a place.
 

Andres came through art and design through objects, materials, fabrication, architecture and the belief that the environment surrounding an experience can be as meaningful as the experience itself.
 

What began as an idea around intimate wine gatherings quickly became something larger.
 

We realized that the most memorable moments around wine were rarely about wine alone.

• The people sitting across from you.

• They were about the table it was poured around.

• The story of the land beneath the vineyard.

• The object placed in your hand.

• The art on the wall.

• The light in the room.

• The conversation that continued after the bottle was empty.

That realization became House of Silex.
 

We did not want to create another wine tasting company. We wanted to create a house where wine could become the starting point for exploring place, culture, art, material, craftsmanship and human connection.
 

The name Silex comes from the French word for flint: a stone formed over immense stretches of time. Shaped by pressure. Broken through fracture. Used by humanity for thousands of years to create tools, and with the right strike, a spark.
 

It became a fitting symbol for what we wanted the House to represent.
 

Earth. Time. Transformation. Craft. Discovery.
 

Wine begins in much the same way: with a place, a material and time. But what ultimately surrounds it, the hands that make it, the culture that carries it and the people who gather around it, gives it meaning.
 

Today, House of Silex exists at that intersection.
Killian leads the exploration of wine: its producers, regions, history and expression.
Andres shapes the world around it: the objects, art, environments and visual language through which those stories are experienced.
 

Together, we create gatherings and objects intended to make people look a little closer, ask another question, touch the material, understand the place and stay at the table a little longer.

House of Silex is still being built.
 

Not as a single location, but as a collection of objects, salons, places, artists, wines and conversations that continue to shape what the House will become.
 

Because for us, luxury was never meant to be about excess.
 

It is about attention:

• Attention to how it was made.

• Attention to who you share it with.

• And sometimes, all it takes to begin something is the right stone, struck at the right moment.

That spark became House of Silex.
